Whoa.
Iruka was not prepared for that, even if it was only a friendly kiss. Suddenly he felt like an awkward teenager again, an inexperienced adolescent placed in the always-awkward situation of highschool dating. He blinked a couple times to regain his composure, not allowing anyone to see how embarrassed he had become over such a simple action.
"I know, I know. Mine cut class and never turn any work in... And I know some of them are smart, they just don't apply themselves..." he sighed. She had brought up his other love, teaching. As hard as it could be to get him to admit it at times, He really did love it. Helping others to find their own abilities and better realize what they want to do with themselves gave him a good feeling.
He looked over and watched as Asuma and Shizune walked off, talking to each other quietly. "That's a good idea..." he muttered quietly to himself. "Hey Kurenai-sempai, want something?" He asked, beckoning to the bar to their left.

Shizune smiled and thanked Asuma as she placed herself in the chair, looking around at her surroundings though... Shizune was in shock upon how lovely this club really was. Snapping back into reality though, she was prepared to answer Asuma's questions.
"Well, you could say that, but I'm here to stay for good~! It seems that after Tsunade-sama, Sakura-chan, Tonton and myself were heading back here, we discovered that jobs were opened up at Konoha Highschool for us~ So I'll be seeing you all much more than before~!" she beamed looking at the man once again. She couldn't help but say that Asuma had become a very handsome man over the years.
"So how has it been with you, Asu-chan?" the blackhaired woman grinned using the old nickname she was used to when they were younger. "There's so much stuff going on around that I need someone to help me catch up with all of it~ Maybe you could help me?" Shizune giggled covering her mouth with one of her sleeved-covered hands before her slight laughs broke out even greater.
Her left eye though, wandered to the side noticing Iruka and Kurenai not a little ways from them. Shizune's heart sank just a bit when she called over a waiter politely. Her onyx eyes darkened even more when she stared at the two with her left eye and still felt a small thorn piercing her heart. Once again, Shizune bit her bottom lip shaking away this feeling welling up deep inside. As the waiter made it over to the table, Shizune gave a slight smile before making her order.
"A small bottle of Plum sake, if you please..." Shizune wasn't the type to drink but after being stuck with Tsunade for a 'few' years... the habit begins to wear on to you. She wasn't a constant drinker, so it was VERY rare for her to order such a thing.
"Would you like anything, Asuma?" that smile grazed upon her face once again.

Kakashi was mixed, it all goes pretty fast. They all started talking on various topics. He himself got nothing, he wont be exposing his for a while. He looked everyone is somerry, Iruka and asuma trying for a single woman, Shizune looking at Iruka like that. And that look. Well you can say that she felt unhappy seing those two together.
He just stood there his back againts the wall looing around as an obeserver, soo enought Gai will be here, better brace for it.

Asuma smiled gently at the onyx eyed woman. "I'll take the same then. It's a party right? It should be allowed this one time." He said grinning as he saw the waiter bow and leave.
Turning to Shizune, he smiled. "So you're back for good, eh. And you'll even be working in Konoha high. That's great! Who would have guessed that the old Tsunade would be the one to take over from my old man. I never would have figured." He exclaimed shaking his head. "Well, I guess she's up to the job. She can be scary when she wants to, so I'm sure that she'll be able to handle all the kids...and teachers around there." He let out a small laugh as he looked around the building. It looked pretty good.
He then turned to the woman again and looked her in the eyes. He couldn't believe that she used his old nickname again. They were such kids back then, but he was really happy that she was back again. And she had become so pretty. He wondered if she had found someone during all this time already. But that would be a question for later. He didn't want to startle her right away.
He could see her glance towards Kurenai and Iruka sometimes for some reason. Had something happened between them or was it something else. Well, it was none of his business right. At this moment, he saw Kurenai and quickly looked away again. If he wouldn't look away, he would start staring and he didn't want to do that in front of Shizune.
He winked at her and grinned. "Don't worry, I'll help you catching up. I might not be a gossip queen like Kurenai, but I do know a little bit of everything." He then grinned as he saw the waiter coming back with their orders. "But first tell me something about your journey. How was it and did you have a good time?"

She smiled. When she was around Iruka it was all so...relaxed. She didn't feel like she had to try and be something. It all just came naturally.
"Mm...sure. I think I've lost some of my papers, and I have this MASSIVE stack sitting in the living room. Every time I start I cringe and try and do something else. I think most of them are just making it all up, they're not really trying, if you know what I mean..." She waved her arms to try and emphasize how big the pile was.
Kurenai laughed. Iruka was always so organised, he was probably a better teacher as well. She'd always admired him for being able to make the teenagers actually learn something...
And then she looked.
And saw Asuma.
And tried not to look back.

"Yes, It's going to be kind of complicated with her being principal, but I'm going to try my best to keep her from deciding to leash up all of the students. Knowing Tsunade-sama... she would do such a thing..." Shizune grimaced imagining such a scene. It was slightly humorous at the moment, but then it just turned for the worse because she knew Tsunade would actually try that out if they annoyed her a bit too much.
Though, she was tempting herself to look over to Iruka and Kurenai. Shizune was certain she saw both Kurenai and Asuma exchange glances towards each other, but as soon as such an event took place--- they reeled their hooks back in and looked away.
Giggling softly, Shizune was now seriously sure that Kurenai had something for Asuma and the same for the man. But... why wasn't Kurenai trying to get him before any other woman had the chance. Didn't Kure-chi listen to a thing I said back then...? Or did she...? Just with another man... she nearly bit her lip but stopped herself, before shaking off that feeling once again.
A grin crossed her face when the waiter once again came by and offered to pour her a drink. She thanked him politely before he poured Asuma's drink also. As he walked away, Shizune playfully scoffed before reaching for her cup. "Well... 'gentleman' is out of the question for that waiter"
A chuckle escaped her lips as she lifted her cup towards Asuma with a smile on her face.
"Cheers~!"

Asuma grinned as he lifted his glass and pushed it softly against hers. "On your return to Konoha!" He gave the onyx eyes woman a gentle smile as he brought the cup to his mouth. "And I hope that you'll never leave again." He finished as he poured some sake into his mouth.
Asuma noticed that Shizune was looking towards Iruka's and Kurenai's place all the time. Was she seeing something or something? This made him look towards the area as well. And he was surprised when he made eyecontact with the red eyed woman.
He quickly looked away and turned to Shizune again. A slight blush had to be visible on his face as he looked towards his cup and quickly emptied it in his mouth. "So, how are you really? Did you broaden your horizons? Or uhm did you find someone special on your journey? Just tell me everything." He finished smiling nervously. He needed to get his minds off Kurenai no matter what. He just hoped that Shizune wouldn't get the wrong idea.

The two Asu and Shizu. Both of them looking uncomfortably at each other. Asuma and Shizune have some kind of un likeness. As of last year he and Iruka fight for Kurenai's attention, and Sziune looking there probably at the scarred Iru. The position they are istting and the drinking will lead o the invetable.
Either they will combine their forces to remove Iruka from Kure or hell will raise and he Kakashi will be in the middle. He looked up, he can do something to make this alittle bit easier for all or look at a living scene from Icha Icha Violence. What he should do... choices choices.

Iruka frowned slightly as he saw Kurenai repeatedly glance over at Asuma and Shizune. "Yeah... Well they are the summer school students... they either don't care at all or they're the crazy ones that want to graduate years early so they take all their courses over the summer..."
How do I get her to pay attention to me? He thought, looking around for some way to get his Kure-chan away from Asuma. "Hey, let's go get a table up on the second level, ne? We can catch up. I know I've been really busy lately, and we haven't talked for a while."

Anything. Just anything so she didn't have to watch them. Laughing, drinking. Being together...exactly like Kurenai had always imagined herself with him. But they looked so much better, so much more like a couple.
She wanted to forget seeing them, she wanted to forget him.
She grabbed onto Iruka's idea gratefully and smiled.
"I personally think all of mine are brain-dead. I really do wonder what these kids do at home. I mean, I'm talking about kids who don't know the meaning of gravity here..." She laughed, and looked up at the taller man. "Sure, that would be great."
