I walk this long lonely path, Where the days are cold and the hole in my heart never leaves. This hell that I am in, When will I be free? Free from this darkness that consumes my heart?
It was dark.
Typical for Six o clock am. Naruto sat against the tree's trunk, his eyes half lidded as he was half asleep. Azure looked up to green lush leaves, as they dangled over him. Dressed in a long black jacket with the white collared shirt and black jeans. A small yawn excaped his lips, as the blonde had almost fell asleep. Forgetting that he needed to wrap his bandages around his left arm.
Bringing it towards him, he winced. Ugh... Naruto pulled at the bandage, this was the only reason why he was up early. He had neighbors knocking at his door, then beating him the next second. He glared at the grass, before mumbling some random words. His azure eyes narrowed, he felt angry well up in him. Things like that, being abused and such, just made him mad. He hadn't done anything. It wasn't his fault his parents had abandoned him, was it?
He sighed. He had no clue about any of this. He sat there, staring at the badly wrapped bandages on his arms. Naruto sat there, staring at the dark sky that gave off a faint light of the sun. The clouds rolled by and he looked at them. Just carelessly passing by, it somehow irritated him. His brow furrowed and his eyes narrowed at the clouds. He stopped, before flinching and feeling a jolt through his arm. Ngh... he gave a small frown, his eyes became darker and he sighed.
It was only fifthteen minutes that had passed, and it was about the time where more kids would be walking along the school grounds. The early kids were the ones who lived farther away or were just too...Nerdy and geeky to get to school later. Seeing as the sun had risen higher up into the now pink-ish and orange like sky, Naruto's eyes still held the saddness from eariler. He kept thinking that each new day there would be something special. But it was all an ordinary day. All the days were just the same to him. Skipping classes, faling classes, being by himself most of the time...Nothing ever really happened to the blonde.
Watching the morning birds chirp and fly off, fully awake now, Naruto felt the cool morning breeze against his jacket, a small yawn exscaped his lips. Fake smiles, fake grins...Everything was a faux.
Fake dreams.
Where he smiles for others happiness and not his, he was a good friend. He stood up to others, even if he was the one hurt. Doing so much yet recieving so little...He thought he had enough of it already. He thought he had enough of the fake smiles, fake grins...He felt like there was another side to him. A faux side. The side he wouldn't dare show; for he would be afraid that others would create more distance away from him.
He was running.
Running? Where was he running to? Why was he running?
He saw himself in a dark abyss, aimlessly running around trying to wonder where he was going. Then a sudden jolt ran through him, as he saw himself falling in the dark area. His eyes were half lidded and he kept falling, no one there to catch him.
Falling off the edge...
Don't try to catch me...
He heard chattering of high school students, as he stared into the air. More students flowed in as the walked, or took a bus or car to school. Naruto's thoughts were interrupted, and he was glad they were. He was already in enough of a depression. Sighing, he licked his dry lips before folding his bandaged arms across his chest, the headband he wore was off. Noticiable, he felt stares on him. He clenched his azure eyes closed, not wanting to cause any trouble during that morning.
Look! Its the dobe!
Heh, stupid kid is here too early? Did the dope get his apartment condemmed or something?
The blonde ignored their statements, as he staggered to his feet. Still exhausted from the lack of sleep he was getting and his arms injured, he fell and the objects in his bag had fallen out with him. He frowned, was this some sort of punishment, kami? Naruto slowly made his way and started to collect his belongings, he wanted to get out of here and get out fast. But it seemed that kami-sama didn't want to, as if he was angry at the young blonde. God dammit! he cursed in his mind, as his thoughts were filled with anger.
My heart races on Time stopped beating As I fall down This dark abyss of memories That haunt me...

Today was going to be a crappy day. She had been awakened far too early by a rabid cat, and it was visible. Unerneath her eyes a bag of black roamed, giving the impression she hadn't slept for days...No, weeks. Maybe it was true. Maybe it wasn't. She had trouble sleeping, but hopefully she slept a couple of hours per night. Aha. Shit. She didn't even know if she slept or not. She just felt as if all she did was in a dream… It didn’t feel real in the same way as it used to do. Clouded, something holding for her eyes, something making sure she couldn’t see properly.
Umi was everything beginning with S.
Senseless. Stone-Cold. Stiff.
She was all of these things. More. But…She was everything beginning with U, too.
Unstoppable. Uncatchable. Unbeatable.
Yes, Umi was full of it. She believed that while she was a fridgid cow, she could beat everyone. As tall as a boy. She looks like one. She acts like one, for the most. Although, what she hadn’t understood was that, and this was just an example, someone like Sasuke could easily floor her in seconds. She wasn’t the best. She could be pinned, easily, depending on your weight and height. Not clever. Not clever at all.
Lost in her trance, she felt her foot step on something. Hmm, squidgy. Looking down, she saw a hand trapped beneath her shoes. Examing the hand to the elbow, the elbow to the shoulder, and atlast the shoulder to the face, she recognized him slightly. Bending down, feeling her eyes almost cloud over, she picked up some of the books, not saying sorry, not even saying that she’d help him pick up all the stuff. That was just how she acted.
Of course, to the individual who wanted to be picky, she was being extremely rude. Giving him the cold shoulder while picking his things up, it was actually quite odd. As if…As if she didn’t care. Well, duh. No shit, sherlock. If you thought that umi would care over some kid, who just happened to be important enough for her to remember his face, you are imagining things. That, or your drunk. Well, whatever floats your boat. If you wanted to believe that this girl harboured a secret crush for him, but was just ignoring him becuase she was shy, be my guest. Go write a story about it, perhaps, or draw something. A picture would be most likely.
For it you imagined things like this, you needed to wake up to the real world. Fast.
”…You dropped this.”

Whatever you say or do...
He hurried to collect his books, shoving them inside his pack. He felt more glares, stares at him, as he trived to hide his bandaged arms by pulling his jacket sleeves down. Even if his arms ached and had started to bleed again, the blonde ignored it as his now dull azure eyes were covered by blonde strands of hair. As his arm had extended to pick the last five books, his hand had touched the spines of them, before feeling pain squishing his hand.
Lifting his head only the slightest, his bangs covering his eyes he saw that a foot was on his hand. His azure eyes traveled up and saw the familar face. She had bent down to help collect the last fwe books, but giving him the silent and cold look. He sighed softly, as she handed him the books that were left. He stared at her for a moment, an emotionless like look on his face. Why was she doing this? He could only think it was out of pity or something, which made him get frustrated with all of this shit.
" ...You dropped this. "
He gave a small nod of thanks, before taking them and adding them to the other books in his bag. As he stood up, he flinched, his left eye clenched closed as he felt his arm throb. He brought his unoccupied arm up, as he saw the small red blotches appear. Blood. He was indeed bleeding again. He thought about changing the bandages later, but not now. Not now, there were too many people here for him to do so. Grimincing, he looked at the girl, ...Arigatou... he murmurred softly.
Only makes me stronger...

"Alright, I don't know how many times I have to repeat it until you get it, but I will. If the formula is a^2+ b^2= c^2 to find side c, what would you do if you were given b and c but needed to find a?"
It was... Six in the morning. Why was it six in the morning? Oh yes, she was tutoring the untutorable, who was going to be 'busy' later on in the day, so she woke up at four am, got ready, was here by five and they've been going at this since. A guy one year her senior had failed the easy route of grade nine. Easy route as in he wasn't taking any of the advanced classes. Sakura found this stuff easy, it was algebra. Algebra was like a little puzzle you needed to figure out. Sakura was GOOD at puzzles, you could argue Sakura was good at anything.
Well, that was what she wanted you to think.
This guy, however, was not. Where as it took her brain just a moment in time to figure something out that made so much sense... This guy was sitting back, only half listening to her most of the time. If he couldn't figure it out he'd just expect her to explain, get frustrated, and eventually show him step by step, then the process would repeat a few minutes later.
"...When the hell am I ever going to have to figure out the side of a triangle? What idiot would sell me something and not give me the measurements to everything? That's what we made rulers for."
The female sighed, tucking back her pink hair in habit. "If you're a carpenter or an architect, interior designer or a cunstruction worker, sometimes there will be things you need to build where the measurments of something are hard to just 'measure'. It helps with how many materials you need, and with loads of other things I could probably name."
"Don't wanna be any of those." He said right off the bat, propping his elbows down on the picnic table that they were working on underneath the cherry tree. The textbooks and notebooks were open, pencil shavings and eraser leftovers filled the cracks between the wood. The boy had lent Sakura his jacket, as it was chilly in the morning, but he being the male that he was was just fine in a muscle shirt. You'd think maybe the reason why she agreed to tutor him was because he was cuuute, and maybe a small, girlish part of her did.
However, he wasn't scoring any points this early in the morning. The cherry blossom was not an early bloomer, or an early waker for that matter. "Yes... But you need to know it." She ground out slowly, trying hard not to let frustration win over. Sakura's more visible flaw was her temper. It made her strong, intimidating, but not that good a person.
The young teen opened his mouth, but Sakura interjected before he could continue on. "It isn't a matter of whether you need it or not, it is a matter of proving that although it is not neccessary, you have the ability to learn it." Sakura's eyes narrowed. "Setsuna. Don't give me that face, you do, you just don't like using your brain. Seriously, I don't care how long it takes you to learn something, just put effort in it and everyone will be happy."
"...Wouldn't you just have to subtract b^2 from c^2?"
Well, that startled her. Her green eyes blinked at the sudden change in topic, but the corner of her lip twitch a little as if to say she was happy. Still, it was 6 o'clock in the morning. Sakura was never truely happy when she wasn't sleeping at this time. A small nod of approval, and then her interlocked fingers came apart to touch his hand. He had spaced off and she brought his attention back.
"You've kept at it for an hour, and we're driving each other crazy. How about we take a break?" She started to remove his jacket but he shook his head.
"It's still cold, I wouldn't want you to get sick." He insisted as they both stood up. The pink haired girl made no objections, she was used to people offering her stuff and making her life all that much easier. Spending money on her, holding her bags, keeping her warm... Of course, she gave back by helping the people out and agreeing on hanging out, but from what she saw she was getting the benefits. That kinda suited her... Even though she never understood why she got what she did.
They parted for a moment and Sakura took the time to inhale the crisp air. Okay, so she was missing out on some beauty sleep and yes she would be pretty bitchy today because of it, but there was some satisfaction in what she was doing.
Her jeans felt cold against her legs, her cheeks were starting to pink at her cheekbones, but being the tough girl she was she paid it no mind. "So early... I bet I look like a zombie." Her rosy lips muttered to the wind and her eyes were half lidded in boredom. Although a proud, puctual perfectionist, she wasn't the kind that would come to school (or go anywhere for that matter) so early. She probably surprised people with her arrival.
"Summer is ending, fall is here. But damn it, it's cold." She didn't mind it, but her sour attitude wanting to pick at it just because. So she did, berating mother nature and her alarm clock while she walked.
Don't worry though, it was just Sakura. She got like this all the time.

People were staring, why shouldn’t they? I mean, the wierdest girl of school has just started helping the…Happiest guy in school, you could say. The guy who was always smiling. Although right now, he wasn’t…Which had to be the oddest thing. ”Don’t mention it. People are assholes here. Sorry I stepped on you.” And here come the glares. Well, you couldn’t blame them. Who liked being called an asshole? ”Which class are you in?” She was standing up now, brushing herself off as she did so, mostly her knees, where a small stone had lodged itself into her skin.
Looking at him again, her eyes locked onto his arm, and she furrowed her brows. ”How the **** did that happen? You don’t seem the type to get into a gang fight.” Raising her eyebrows when she spoke the last sentence, and wrapped her hand around the wrist, and then lifting it away, and looked at her hand. Yup, blood had smeared onto her hands. Wiping it off on her skirt, she shrugged. ”Can’t be helped. As nobody else’ll probably help you, have you got any spare bandages? Otherwise we’ll have to go to the nurses office…She might have some bandages.”
Yes, if this was a manga, or anime, and Umi was infact a guy, she’d have unwrapped the bandages right there, and ’gently’ sucked the blood out of the wounds. Of course, they were’nt in an anime, or manga, and she wasn’t a guy. Against common belief.

The blonde just stared at his arm, not wanting to injure them more than they already were. She was right, he wasn't one to get into a gang fight, but only if nessacary. Everyone knew that the blonde was reckless and restless, hell he was dumb too, he admitted it. Not really caring about that crap, he watched the female take his wrist and examining her hand. Blood, he could see it seeping through the bandages. He never really was good at first aid, but that was fine with him. He learned things eventually. ...I...Have some spares.. he muttered, before taking his pack and opening it, trying now to spill out the books again.
Rumaging through his books carefully so that he wouldn't feel as much pain, his hand had groped around for the small roll of bandages, eventually finding them. Pulling them out he sighed, before sitting down a near by table, placing his bag on it and stared at the ground. He didn't feel to well, right then. Something fluttered around in his stomach, but he pushed the thought out of his mind. Handing the rebelious girl the bandages, he bit his lower lip. He was out of it, indeed.
He needed to lie, like he always did. He needed to tell something that was half truth, half lie. I uh...Got into a fight with some kid...Senior year, I think. he muttered, yelling several curse words in his mind. He hung his head, as if in defeat. Naruto sighed softly again, before starting to unwrap the bandages. Arms covered with blood and bruises, he noticed several cuts, thats right. One of the neighbors who hated him had brought his pocket knife as well. Glaring at the cuts, he continued to chew at his lower lip.

”Mm.” The truth was, she sucked at first aid. The whole…Caring thing was lost on her. Still, bandaging couldn’t be too hard. Taking the bandages in her hand, she started searching for the edge of it…It was like a peice of tape. Looking up, hearing someone yelling, she turned around to see two boys shouting at eachother. She could make out something about ’You keep away from my girl’, or something along the likes. Next thing you know, they were on the floor, wrestling. The view, now that they had dissapeared from it, let her see a head of pink. A tired girl…It had to be Sakura, no one else had hair like hers.
”Senior kid? Bastard. Take no notice of people like that. The truth is…” Pausing, as she managed to find the end of the bandage, and pulled it out, sensing how Sakura was coming closer. ”The truth is they’re pure evil. Never’ll amount to anything in life, that type of person. Y’know?” Sighing, she pulled at the bandage, and wrapped it around his arm, examining the cuts and bruises. ”Only your arm? Or have you got these kind of knife slashes all over your body? Can I ask…Did this happen in school?”
It would be odd if it had…I mean, kids who caused a bit of an uproar were checked almost every day if they had a weapon to school…So either he was lying, it happened outside of school, or it was the kids first time of hacking at someone. Umi pushed the thought out of her mind. She didn’t want to be reminded off how she used to have to be checked over something like that…
”Shit! I messed it up!” Scratching her forehead, she blinked, examining it carefully. It looked alright, like it was supposed too, but she couldn’t tie a knot. ”Ah!” Hand down in her pocket, she pulled a safety pin out, and manouvered it, being careful not to pierce him, and clicked it into place. ”Better?”

See, this was why she liked staying away from mornings. The regular drama ensued as two guys nearly tripped her in their jealous spat, and so she kicked one of them for good measure. They didn't seem to notice as they wrestled around, rolling over each other and brutally throwing fists. Somewhere there was a girl with little tears in her eyes with her fists balled up to her face, watching them fight. As entertaining, and as suggestive it was, Sakura avoided getting into it. Boys will be boys, and after they idiotically break each other's limbs it will be all over.
She was so thankful the boys she knew were decent. True, Naruto and Sasuke fought but they were never retards about it. Naruto didn't pick fights, Sasuke was too cool to start randomly beating up another guy in a fit of jealousy, and for the others like Kiba and Lee, they were also the decent type. No way Naruto would get into a fight for no reason and injure himself like an idiot.
Speaking of which, she hadn't seen him in awhile... She was sidetracked with making herself busy and such, that she hadn't noticed her lack of interaction with the boys in her life. Ino seemed insistant to bond with her as much as possible, Temari and she tended to happen upon one another, she saw Tsunade-sama and Shizune-san quite a bit...
Wow, she thought a lot didn't she? The girl managed to lose herself in her train of musings and was purposly ignoring the things around her. It was cold, early, noisy, she quickly tuned it out lest she lash out on the next poor victim to cross her way. Sakura, mean? No way... She was just on constant PMS, if you asked anyone.
Though try and tell her this and you might find yourself digging your own grave and jumping in just so she doesn't get to you first.
Finally, she focused in on something. It was the tell-tale blonde hair and black longcoat which caught her eye and the distant voice she could pick out in any crowd whispered in her ear. Oh, so that's where he wa--
Why the Hell was a girl wrapping bandages around his arms? Pink brows raised and then narrowed as she drew closer. Hold on... The red standing out against the white made her eyes zero in, and soon her legs were taking very long strides for a girl of her height.
"You stupid idiot!"
What a beautiful morning greeting. One that was familair, since it seemed both Sakura and Sasuke had used variations of it now and again.
She stomped over to his stide, standing tall like a tower above him with her hands on her hips, demanding complete and total submission from the wounded puppy beneath her. "Now don't tell me you got into a fight, or something stupid like that. What did you do to yourself?"
Demanding answers, but not waiting to hear him out, she sunk to her knees, ignoring how cold the grassy floor was against her already chilled legs. She took his hands and brought them towards her for inspection. Her scrutinizing gaze locked on, and immedietly she started to shed the bandages that Umi had worked to put on. They fell to the floor and she gazed over the damage.
"Cuts?" She dragged a finger along a fresh one, trying to figure out how deep it had gone without probing in and causing him pain. The bruises, the bleeding, oh god he /was/ in a fight. Unless he did that to himself, which she could never believe.
She refused to let go, holding on and continueing her inspection in deep thought. Her expression was not approving, it was eerily like a mother who had just figured out her son was out playing hookey and managed to break his leg while doing something stupid. "We need to disinfect this first, and then properly bandage your arms."
Her eyes then rose to peirce into his blue ones. She did not like what she saw in them. What happened? What was wrong with him? On the inside of course, she cared a lot. On the outside however that kind, soft concern did not manage to shine through. Scolding, accusing, and forcebly taking care of people was her way of saying she cared. She wouldn't waste her time and energy if she didn't.
"What happened, I want details."

And here comes another one.
He groaned, now that the pink haired student had come up to them, he didn't feel like explaining. Seeing as the other girl finished attempting to bandage his arms, he stared at them. Frowning, as his arms were pulled towards the new arrival's posession.
Now don't tell me you got into a fight, or something stupid like that. What did you do to yourself?
He went silent again, not wanting to really say anything. As he fell silent, he averted his eyes to the tree he had sat under just eariler this morning. Feeling the light touch of her finger following the fresh cut on his arm, he stared at her. Incarnadine hair, and green eyes. He sighed once again, was this going to be a habit? He mentally slapped himself, before wincing. He didn't really need their help, but he accepted it anyway. I'm...Fine. Really. No need to help me. he said.
He knew Sakura was not one to explictitly show her emotions, well, emotions besides anger and irritation; but she was looking out for him. Smiling softly, he could tell her anything...Kinda, not everything. But he could always talk to Sakura. Giving off a small cough, he guess he could tell her infront of someone he barely knew.
...I got beaten again... he said solemnly. He thought that Sakura should know about it, since this had happened once or twice before this.

Post by Sabaku no Temari on Feb 3, 2008 15:40:42 GMT -5
Tick... Tock... Tick... Tock...
She couldn't see it, but she could hear it.
The giant clock. It's hands slowly encircling every number. Each passing second became a beat, a beat almost mimicing the whispering she could clearly hear. Faces faulting as they evaded her path, retreating to where her feet would not follow.
Their hairs standing still, sweat crawling down their skins whilst their breaths stopping short. ...Cowards... An index finger, grazing across the black wristband she bared, with a smile across her lips her ministrations continued.
Odd as it seemed, on this hopelessly dark day, the blonde was smiling.
...As if she was a young girl hiding a secret from her mother...
She was hiding a secret alright. To most point of views, some would believe that she was an expert with a razor blade, but that wasn't it at all. If that's what they wanted to think, then they could --- Temari didn't care whatsoever. Gossip would spread... and then the whole nine yards.
...Hell, she was ready for it...
"Isn't that Sabaku...? I wonder what's she hiding under there."
"Hn. If she's so depressed then why doesn't she just stay home and drown her worries out. It's just pathetic..."
The bark of the large tree, scraping against her the small of her back. Fall winds were sailing through, blowing against her sand colored mane. Her eyelids closed as her pink tongue grazed across her dry lips.
The "audience" stood there agape as her wristband was removed, prepared for the worse, they were. "Ugh... she seriously did cut herself! I knew that Sabaku had problems... but this is just plain sick"
"Shush, she can hear, you know. But she's still smiling... I wonder why? Did she enjoy doing that or something?"
They must've been blind enough to not notice that her wrist was perfectly intact. The pale skin did seem dead though if anyones attention drew upwards.
A few scars here and there were found though, but they were not knife scars... those "kids" could believe what they saw. Who cared a damn?
Though her audience began to retreat as her tall figure stood up straight. Darkened eyes as strong as steel followed their movements as her feet glided her towards the opposite direction.
Her wristband was disposed of into her bag, and a sigh escaped from pressed lips as the cool breeze tickled her arm. The scars were still tender but the sandy blonde didn't mind. Nothing a few bandages could cover up, so she was good to go.
Whispering could still be heard, and the harmony it created with that unknown clock just made her ponder upon facts.
...Both were mocking her...
Ahead, her eyes grew their attention towards a familiar group of people Temari could actually get some sort of conversation out of. Taking hold of the clean bandages in her bag, her teeth took hold of one bandage before she began wrapping the others around her left arm.
Still walking towards the group, she never missed a step. The scent of the hospital entering her senses as the bandages were fully set. A slight smile crossed her features as her body jerked to a halt. With a wave with her left hand, her mouth finally opened.
"Hey"

Ino has always been known to be a happy and energetic girl, even in the mornings. Ino was the kind of girl who could get grumpy in the night. But not that many people knew this. Probably just her closest friends, Sakura and Temari. Oh she could still remember that one time she went crazy on Temari for eating the last chocolate....poor girl.
Just as any other day, she was doing some early morning exercises. Stretching, doing some sit-ups, and lastly jogging to school. She needed to stay in shape of course. Jogging through on her way to school she noticed that she was earlier than before. It was still a bit dark outside and it seemed more quiet as well. Not that she minded, even she loved these moments of peace.
She finally saw the school coming into sight as a frown came into sight. She didn't really feel like school anymore. It was getting quite boring to be honest. But yeah..some things had to be done, eh.
She entered the school ground, sweating a little bit and was surprised to see Sakura and Naruto with Umi. And she noticed that Temari was close to them as well. She looked kind of odd though. Was something wrong with her? And did she see bandages? What the hell was going on?!
She quickly ran towards the little group and breathed heavily as she looked the boy in the eyes. "What happened? You look terrible! Are you alright?" She couldn't believe this. Did the boy get into another fight again?

Sakura's eyes had narrowed dangerously as she heard Naruto confess to what had really happened. Yeah, she knew that in the past he had gotten beaten and ostrisized, but it was still happening to him after all these years? Her jaw clenched and for a moment she rivalled the look on her face she'd have when she was raging drunk.
"You are still letting them do that to you, Naruto?" She whispered in a serious tone, silent and deadly.
Well, the topic was saved by the bell, or more like saved by his fellow blondes. Ino came bounding along with the energy only she seemed capable of in the morning. Temari was... Acting strange. Sakura had eyed the girl with those same narrowed eyes she used on Naruto, but couldn't focus on her so much since she had a bleeding boy infront of her.
"... He was in a fight. Right now though I need to get him inside the school to disinfect the cuts and rebandage him. Why don't you and Umi..." Her eyes had discreetly darted to Temari as she spoke to a concerned Ino. "Go talk to your friends for now." As in friends she meant for Ino to go see what was up with Tema-chan, Umi too if she felt like it, she wasn't sure on what terms the girl was with, but she did know that Umi was slightly close to Gaara so she was relevant.
"Naruto." She said his name suddenly and sharply, a lot harsher than she expected. Some surprise was mirrored in her expression, and then both her tone and face had softened a degree. "Come on, let's get you up." Her arms moved to wrap around his sides in a bear hug and she avoided too much contact with his aching arms. Luckily she was a very strong girl, so she didn't have much trouble getting him to his feet.

What a way to start the day....
Naruto was hurt badly, and she didn't know what to think of Temari...the girl looked really odd. Had something happened to her as well. What was with that bandaged wrist? Ino didn't like this one bit. And then there was Umi. Had something happened to her too?
Ino finally managed to calm her breathing though as she listened to Sakura's words. Sakura was the serious and grumpy kind of girl in the morning, so she knew that the girl wasn't going to repeat her words. In times like these Sakura was a real leader.
She sighed as she realised that Naruto got into a fight once again. Would those stupid people never stop attacking the boy for something he can't do anything about. Even Ino's happy mood was totally ruined now and she just wanted to hurt the people who had done this to her friend. "Those bastards..." She whispered softly so that nobody could hear her.
And she realised what Sakura meant behind her other words as Ino gave Sakura a nod with a wink, while mouthing 'you got it' to the girl. Sakura wanted her to see what was wrong with Temari, so that she could take care of Naruto herself. Gah, Sakura was a really great person. Never letting your friends down. Ino suddenly felt really warm inside and got her good mood back again, well at least partly.
She was going to talk to Temari when she was sure Naruto was alright.
"Be sure to inform us when you're done alright?" Ino said to the pink haired girl as she was lifting the blonde. She stayed alert for a moment to see if Sakura could carry the boy herself, but she seemed okay. She was really one of the strongest girls around.
As she noticed that Sakura was about to leave, she sighed. "Be careful, Sakura-chan. If those bastards come back for more, call for help, okay. Don't try to handle it by yourself..." Ino didn't really understand where that came from. But the words had come out before she really understood what she had said. She gave the girl a wry smile as the worried look stayed on her face.
